SCHOOL REC verses ALL STAR Teams - - Which one are you?
According to the WACPC handbook, this is how they describe those teams that qualify for the SCHOOL/REC category:
● The WACPC State JEM Dance Championships are designed for students in elementary, junior high, middle school, and non-varsity members of high schools which would include students in grades K-12.
● Definition of a JEM team
○ A team is qualified to participate in a WACPC championship event if:
■ They are affiliated with a school district as a school team
■ Through the district's rec department
■ OR operate under a 501(c)(3) as a government certified non-profit organization.
○ Teams which are not directly under a school or district may be asked to provide their 501(c)(3) certification.
○ Teams must follow NFHS and WACPC rules. Teams are not eligible if any part of their organization has competed in an all-star studio based competition

7:00 am Ticket Booth Opens
1:45pm High School Small Group/Solo Awards – AUDITORIUM
2:30 pm TEAM AWARDS for the morning - GYM
7:30 pm Younger Dancers Group/Solo Awards – AUDITORIUM
9:45 pm TEAM AWARDS - GYM
ADMISSION: $7 (children 5 and under are free)
